Dear ASCA delegates and team members.
We are pleased to welcome you to Reykjavik for the Cross Country competition this year. The event will take place March 9th to 11th.
We ask you to complete the ASCA regstration form and return to us as soon as possible, no later than February 10th. Detailed program to be sent later.
The package
The package price will be 11.000 ISK (approx. €120) covering
• Transportation between airport and hotel
• T-shirt
• Competition arrangements
• Lunch and drinks during and after competition
• Excursion to the amazing Blue Lagoon (see www.bluelagoon.com)
• Awards dinner
The package price must be paid cash in ISK at team captains meeting Friday evening.
Accommodation
Rooms are reserved at the Icelandair Hotel Loftleidir (see www.hotelloftleidir.is). The hotel is located 54km from the International Airport in Keflavik. The room rate in a double room is 4.160 ISK (approx. €45) per person per night. Price for single room is 6.630 ISK (approx. €70) per night. The rate include breakfast. Accommodation is paid directly to the hotel.
Cross country event
The competition takes place at Öskjuhlid, within a walking distance from the hotel. You can expect all kinds of weather so be prepared.
Excursion
Following the post race lunch you will be invited to the amazing Blue Lagoon. This is a “not to be missed” 3 hour tour. You can either bring your own swimsuit and towel or rent at the lagoon.
